Early Years

"Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity”. Kay Redfield Jamison

The educators in Gowrie WA’s early childhood education and care centres are passionate about children and families. Our educators embrace the work they do each day to provide quality care and learning experiences, both of which assist in positive early brain development. Gowrie WA educators are keen learners, always striving to provide nurturing and healthy learning environments and experiences, based on their knowledge of each child’s needs and incorporating the philosophies and learning of early childhood theorists.

Gowrie WA has a reputation for quality support to children and families in the community, as well as providing stimulating and inclusive environments built on secure, trusting and strong relationships with all children and families.  We strive to ensure our environments are welcoming and that the experiences children have each day at Gowrie WA, inspire them to investigate, discover, imagine and create. Our educators support and scaffold children's learning in partnership with families, reflecting centre philosophies and encompassing the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Our three early childhood education and care centres are located in Lowan Loop Karawara , Paterson Road Kewdale and Farrington Road Leeming.  Please follow the links for information specific to each centre. You may wish to like us on Facebook for up to date activities at all our centres, including the Leeming and Karawara Family and Community Centres.
