Family and Community Centre Manager
Mish believes that her desire to work with children, families and the community has been with her for since she was very young. At the age of 16, she started working part-time in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) while at high school. Once she completed high school, she commenced her Bachelor of Education while continuing to work in OSHC. From mid-2012, Mish worked on a casual basis in Gowrie’s Early Years centres, while continuing her studies and part time work in OSHC. In November 2013, she took on a casual position at Leeming Family and Community Centre and was permanently employed to the role of Family and Community Centre Manager in July 2014. Mish now works across our Leeming and Karawara Family and Community Centres. Her passion for making a difference to the lives of all, is comfortably aligned with Gowrie WA’s vision of providing healthy and nurturing learning environments for our children, families and community.
When not at work, Mish enjoys spending time with her sisters, ranging from toddlers to young adults. Mish has an English Staffy who is a little spoilt and has her heart firmly wrapped around his paw. Mish looks forward to a fulfilling career and continuing to love her role at Gowrie WA.
