Family and Community Manager
Mish's desire to work with children, families and the community has been with her for since she was very young. At 16, Mish started working part-time in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) while at high school. Upon completing high school, she commenced her Bachelor of Education while continuing to work in OSHC and on a casual basis in Gowrie’s Early Years centres. In November 2013, she took on a casual position at Gowrie's Leeming Family and Community Centre and was permanently employed to the role of Family and Community Centre Manager in July 2014. Mish now works across our Leeming and Karawara Family and Community Centres. Her passion for making a difference to the lives of all, is comfortably aligned with Gowrie WA’s vision of providing healthy and nurturing learning environments for our children, families and community.
When not at work, Mish loves spending time with her partner and family who she holds dear, including her very spoilt English staffy. Mish looks forward to a fulfilling career at Gowrie and continuing to love her role, and the wonderful team at Gowrie.

Early Years Manager
Ashlee's love and passion for caring for children has been with her from a very early age. While at high school, Ashlee studied childcare, knowing this was the field she wanted to work in. While volunteering at an animal rescue shelter, Ashlee visited Gowrie's Kewdale and Karawara centres with sheep and goats to show the children, and she fell in love with the expansive and nature based outdoor environments, and the positive and and close relationships she witnessed between children, families and educators.
In January 2015, Ashlee began working at Gowrie while undertaking a traineeship to obtain her Certificate III and Diploma in Children's Services. Ashlee's desire to fulfill her dream of being a Centre Manager at Gowrie were realised when she was deservingly promoted to Early Years Manager at Gowrie's Karawara centre. After excelling in the role as a Centre Manager, Ashlee was favourably endorsed to the position of Early Years Manager, overseeing our Karawara and Kewdale early years centres. Ashlee's commitment and dedication to children, families and the Gowrie organisation was recognised early in her tenure and grows every day.
Outside of work hours, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as exploring her creative side through her skills as a wonderful cook and baker.
