Qualified Educator
Gowrie Western Australia is deeply committed to our team of educators and support people. We are a not-for-profit community based early childhood education and care (ECEC) organisation with three metropolitan services. We were established in 1940 and are the oldest provider of childcare in Western Australia.
Our team of three Education and Care Leads (Centre Managers with Diploma qualifications) have been with Gowrie WA for 15 years collectively. They are fabulous and positive leaders, mentors and managers who are deeply dedicated to their teams, to excellence, and to Gowrie as a whole, as are the other members of the leadership and management team who are also experienced and passionate educators. We are very proud of the fact that our organisation is lead and managed by educators, so we can say with our hand on our hearts that we know what it feels like to be an educator, and we always keep that at the forefront of our decisions.
We currently have a wonderful opportunity for a Diploma qualified Educator, or someone working towards their Diploma qualification, who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young children. We have a role becoming vacant at Gowrie Early Learning Nedlands as one of our beloved team members has let us know they have made the tough decision to make a move to a centre closer to their home, after many years with us. Should we be fortunate enough to fill the role at Nedlands with the perfect person, and should we also find other wonderful educators, we may be able to make accommodations for our Karawara (South Perth) or Kewdale (Belmont) centres to add to those teams.
